Privacy Notice
Last updated 15 August 2026
This notice explains how CustomTee handles personal information submitted through customtee.co.za.
Information we collect
When you request an order, we collect the details you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, company, required date, product selections, messages and artwork notes.
If you use the product designer and attach a design, the preview and any original artwork you choose to submit are sent with your order request. Basic hosting logs may also contain technical information such as your IP address, browser and request time.
How we use it
We use this information to prepare and manage quotes, confirm artwork and stock, communicate about your request, produce accepted orders, keep business records, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
CustomTee does not currently use advertising trackers or sell personal information. We will not use submitted artwork for another customer or publish it without permission.
Service providers and transfers
We use service providers for hosting, database storage and transactional email. They process information only as needed to provide those services. Some providers may process data outside South Africa, including in the European Union or United States, subject to appropriate contractual and security safeguards.
Retention and security
We keep order-request records and artwork only for as long as reasonably needed to quote, fulfil the order, handle queries and meet record-keeping obligations. The browser designer keeps its working design in your browser until you attach and submit it.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or object to certain processing. We may need to retain information where law or an active transaction requires it.
For a privacy request, email orders@customtee.co.za. You may also contact South Africa's Information Regulator if you believe your personal information has not been handled lawfully.
